A BEE level 6 registered business for short term plant hire.

Paul Heslop Plant Services was formed in 1983 by its namesake Paul Heslop. It was to be the beginning of what is now the Rhino Group of companies, Rhino Excavator Hammers, Rhino Earthmovers, The Paul Heslop Business Trust and the founding business.

P H Plant has been operating since 1987 and remains the short term BEE accredited business based in Honeydew, Gauteng, South Africa. It started as a 2 TLB operation and developed into a thriving small business offering plant hire in the construction industry.

P H Plant went through a natural development process into excavators with attachments. It expanded into the hammer market, eventually setting up an agency with D and A, a hammer producer in South Korea.

Further changes took place in the Industry when the mining sector saw the need for excavator attachments, breaking earth with excavators and substituting explosives in open cast mines. This brought on the need for ripper equipment supported by Xcentric Ripper in Spain.

Paul Heslop Plant Services remains the parent business and controls administration management within the group. P H Plant still operates with TLB’s and similar sized equipment that covers daily turnaround times, moving on and off site quickly and efficiently.

P H Plant was also responsible for our fixed base workshops, stores and logistics outlet.
